We’ve all been there at some point or another. You start a new exercise program, join a gym, or try a new class, only to eventually burn out and quit. You go all in, feel great, and then, BOOM, you have one bad workout and are ready to throw in the towel.

The reason behind this occurrence is the lack of knowing how and when to rest, not quit when we get tired. Everyone, I repeat, EVERYONE has good days as bad days when it comes to workouts. It’s natural and a part of being human. We won’t always have the best workout according to what we THINK is the best. But, by simply showing up and doing the do, even when it feels extra hard, I can guarantee that you’ll be happy you moved your body regardless. Some days, you’ll feel AMAZING and STRONG! On other days, you may feel sluggish and maybe a little weaker than the previous workout. But don’t be discouraged; this is all part of the process. Our bodies and minds have good days and bad days. Learning to listen to your body and slow down will keep you moving longer.

When the workout feels impossible, know that this, too, will pass. It may not pass tomorrow or the next day, but if you accept it for what it is and just keep moving, I promise you will get your mojo back.
